A Space Created for Deeper Self-Understanding

Twashtri was created from a simple belief: healing begins when we learn to relate to ourselves with greater awareness, clarity, and compassion. Rooted in modern psychology, Integral Yoga, and Indic wisdom traditions, we create spaces that support integrated healing, conscious growth, and a more aligned way of living.

Our Foundation

Why We Exist

We exist to create nurturing spaces for deep holistic healing that builds the foundation for lifelong clarity and wholeness.

How We Do It

We guide individuals through deep self-understanding inquiry so they can build clarity, inner stability, and to live life aligned to who they truly are.

What We Ultimately Create

We bring people back to themselves, so they can move from confusion to clarity and live in true alignment.

Our Story

Founded in 2022 and registered with DPIIT Startup India, Twashtri emerged from a deep understanding that mental health care in India needed an approach that honored our cultural heritage while embracing scientific advancement.

Named after Twashtri, one of the 12 Adityas in Vedic tradition known as the divine architect of the universe, our center embodies the spirit of conscious creation and transformation. Just as Twashtri shapes the cosmos, we help individuals reshape their inner worlds through therapeutic intervention.

Meet Roopali Das — Founder, Twashtri

Twashtri did not begin as an idea. It began with a question that wouldn’t leave: Why do people appear fine, yet feel internally disconnected?

Through years of self-inquiry, therapeutic practice, and Indian philosophy, I recognized that healing is not merely about managing symptoms — it is about developing deeper self-awareness, inner clarity, and a more conscious relationship with oneself.

My observation led to a recurring pattern: people functioning, achieving, and carrying responsibility, yet internally marked by exhaustion, overwhelm, and disconnection. At the same time, mental wellness was becoming fast, clinical, and diagnosis-driven, losing depth of lived experience. Twashtri emerged to address this gap: replacing mechanical care with mindful, human-centered healing rooted in awareness, presence, and inner alignment. Its belief is that healing cannot be forced; it unfolds through awareness over avoidance, observation over judgment, and stillness over resistance—not by fixing or suppressing the mind, but by enabling clear seeing.

Quote: “Positioned at the intersection of psychology and Indic wisdom, Twashtri focuses not on quick relief but on clarity, integration, and sustained transformation, with one intent: returning individuals to themselves—fully and consciously.”

Our Approach

Where Modern Psychology Meets Indian Wisdom Traditions

Human beings have always sought ways to understand suffering, growth, meaning, and transformation. Modern psychology offers valuable evidence-based frameworks for understanding thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviour. Indian wisdom traditions offer centuries of inquiry into awareness, consciousness, self-understanding, and the nature of human experience.

At Twashtri, these perspectives are not seen as opposing paths. They are brought together thoughtfully to support a more integrated understanding of wellbeing. This allows us to approach healing in ways that honour both scientific understanding and deeper questions of meaning, identity, connection, and conscious living.

What Guides Our Work

  • Awareness & Reflection: Developing a deeper understanding of ourselves and our experiences.
  • Integration: Bringing together psychological insight, lived experience, and wisdom traditions in meaningful ways.
  • Compassion: Creating spaces where people feel supported, respected, and understood.
  • Emotional Groundedness: Honouring the realities of human experience without judgment or pressure.
  • Sustainable Growth: Supporting long-term wellbeing rather than temporary solutions.
