Shree Rajeev
Counselling Psychologist
Hi, I’m Rajeev
At the heart of my work as a therapist is a deep belief that no story is ever complete without you finding yourself again. People are not problems to be solved, they need spaces to be seen and heard for exactly who they are. I try to hold therapy as a space where you can be fully human, with all the questions, emotions, contradictions, and stories that come with it. “I feel therefore I am” is the crux of my work.
My style as a therapist is warm, reflective, and often gently curious. I believe some of the most meaningful moments in therapy come from simply sitting with what is, making sense of patterns, naming emotions that may have gone unnoticed, and understanding ourselves a little more deeply. I also bring humour into sessions, not to take away from the seriousness of someone’s pain, but to create room to breathe and remind us that even in difficult conversations, lightness can exist.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll often find me watching the sunset by a lake, humming music that’s stuck in my head, quoting lines from things I love, or painting on a canvas. These moments are important to me, and in many ways they shape the space I try to create in therapy, a space that allows for pause, curiosity, and honest exploration.
Because therapy, at its best, is simply this—
a space where you can put down what you’ve been carrying alone.
My Approach
I approach therapy from a grounded humanistic lens, with a strong focus on empathy and understanding. My work is client-centered and trauma-informed, and I aim to create a space where you can be unapologetically yourself, to feel what you feel and say what you want without fear of judgment. Drawing from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Parts Work(IFS), Somatic and Narrative approaches, I support clients in deepening emotional awareness, understanding their patterns, and reshaping the stories they hold about themselves in ways that feel more compassionate and empowering. Therapy with me is ultimately about you and your journey.
My hope is to offer a space where all of those parts are welcome, where they can be understood with compassion rather than judgment, and where change emerges from feeling deeply seen.
My Specializations
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions, and the many ways these experiences can shape how we relate to ourselves and others. I’m naturally curious about the masks we wear and the protective patterns we’ve carried for years. Whether those look like always being the strong one, people-pleasing, staying emotionally distant, or constantly overthinking, I don’t see them as flaws. I see them as meaningful adaptations that deserve to be understood before they’re asked to change.
Again and again, I’ve found that beneath many of these struggles is a deep longing for connection—with ourselves, with others, and with emotions that may have felt too difficult to experience alone.

I had a very positive experience working with Rajeev. His approach truly stood out. They created a space where I felt genuinely heard. Instead of directing the sessions, he allowed me to explore my thoughts and feelings at my own pace, which made the process feel empowering and deeply personal. It never felt like he was imposing solutions rather, they supported me in finding my own answers, which has had a lasting impact on my confidence. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a therapist who values genuine connection and respects the client’s individual journey.

Me and my partner had a wonderful experience with Mr Rajeev where we for the first time in our marriage sat and faced our conflicts and issues, where our therapist gently led us individually to look at where we could be doing things differently and helped us work together as a unit after so long.
